Roland Park Community Center 501(c)3 is a non-profit community space for connection, learning, creativity and gathering in North Baltimore. We welcome people of many backgrounds, interests, organizations, and traditions to share space, build relationships, and participate in community life.
No need to join. You already belong.
RPCC does not require membership and is open to the wider community.
A shared space for community life
Roland Park Community Center is home to a wide range of organizations, gatherings, and traditions. Independent groups and service providers use the Center for worship, classes, meetings, arts programming, wellness practices, celebrations, and community events throughout the week.
RPCC serves as a nonprofit host organization and shared gathering space. While we coordinate the building and offer some of our own programs and events, many activities at the Center are independently organized and led by the groups who use the space.
The Center continues a long tradition of welcoming many communities under one roof. Today, that includes congregations and spiritual communities, educational and cultural programs, wellness practitioners, neighborhood organizations, and family gatherings serving people of many backgrounds and interests.
We strive to balance warmth and hospitality with thoughtful stewardship of the building and care for our surrounding neighborhood. As a shared community space, we ask all users to help maintain an environment that is welcoming, respectful, and sustainable for everyone who gathers here.
RPCC exists to support the people, organizations, and communities that help North Baltimore thrive. We believe shared spaces can foster connection, creativity, learning, reflection, celebration, and care across many backgrounds and traditions.
As a nonprofit community center, we are committed to balancing hospitality with stewardship – caring for the building, the grounds, and the many people who rely on this space throughout the week. We strive to create an environment that is welcoming, respectful, accessible, and sustainable for all who gather here.

Shared Stewardship and Community Care
Deep Roots in the Roland Park Community
Roland Park Community Center 501(c)3 continues a long tradition of shared community life in this building and neighborhood. The Center grew out of the legacy of First Christian Church of Baltimore. First Christian Church was itself a merging of multiple smaller congregations in the 1960s. Over the years, they welcomed many groups to share the space and established a spirit of service, hospitality, collaboration, and openness that continues today.
As Baltimore and society at large evolved, the organization expanded beyond a single-congregation model to become a broader nonprofit community hub serving many kinds of groups, gatherings, and traditions. Today, the Center is operated by Corner Community Center Inc, the legal name of our nonprofit organization.
RPCC continues to care for the Memorial Garden established by First Christian Church, with a small number of graves in between two sections of the building. The Garden of Remembrance provides a peaceful place for reflection, remembrance, and connection for families and community members and is an important part of both the history and ongoing life of this space.
While the Center continues to evolve, its core purpose remains rooted in creating welcoming space for people to gather, learn, celebrate, reflect, serve, and build community together.
Community in Action
RPCC is home to performances, classes, celebrations, meetings, worship communities, service projects, and neighborhood gatherings throughout the year.
